So I'm choosing to change my life for the better. I am 5 10" and weigh 478 LBS. I am currently 23 years old and in school and unemployed. I recently went for a job interview in which my buddy had the job for me as long as the interview went well. A few days after the interview he told me that I had a perfect interview, but they didn't feel comfortable hiring me due to my weight. I obviously know that I am overweight but this was a major wake up call. I have now decided that it is time to get my shit in gear and get healthy. I'm just wondering if anyone that has ever been near the weight I'm at has any advice. Love the community here and will definitely keep you guys posted with where I am at! Thanks, Rick

Thanks! There were a few events that kicked my ass into gear! My Doctor tried to convince me to have a weight loss surgery. I had to miss my best friends wedding in Napa because I could not get onto an airplane, and I was on probably 9 different medications including an inhaler that I had to go to the hospital to get. I am currently taking 0 pills or medications and feel better than I ever have! I walk on average 15K steps per day and am killing it! It was honestly just a do or die moment and I chose to kick ass!

Great job Brotha! I will be in the 2 hundreds by February, and am planning a few marathons this year! It's funny to me that my original goal was 275 and now that is laughable. I will get down to 215 this year! I think that the last time I was this weight was around 2002 and I was 5 inches shorter haha. Can't wait to see how I feel at nearly 6 feet and 215 pounds!

Haha WOW I just remembered that I posted this years ago and had to update! Well the bad news is that I ended up getting all of the way up to 535 pounds a few years ago...the good news is that I am currently 315 pounds and steadily losing! I hope that everyone is doing well! I truly miss my SSA family!

Great value stuff for sure I have played with their tweeters and subwoofers and was extremely impressed for the money!

Any idea when you guys will start shipping them, or are we not at that point yet?

That was a fun job in HS, it was a Milf Utopia. Even better is that I was working the Starbucks inside and that pulled them right on over LMAO.

Hey guys how are you all doing? Remember me lol!? I saw Mark's post about picking up traffic....What happened, why is the forum so dead as of late? I stopped frequenting the site because I've been super busy, but I've been back on more lately and it seems like there is way less activity.

I've had the V10 since early December and love it. Battery life is great and it charges super fast. Everything works as it should, even the fingerprint reader works flawlessly.

Hey Alton I'm so sorry man, I haven't been on here in forever and completely spaced this. Sean let me know on FB that you posted this. Pm me your address to make sure that I have the right one and I'll send the speakers out asap and the tweeters are yours for your time. I had no intention in screwing you over man and I'm sorry it took this long. I hope you still have a use for this stuff.

Well I have had the car for a few weeks now and I'm really missing the low end. I was discouraged after looking at the trunk because it looked much smaller than my I30 and I had just assumed that the enclosure that I had for the 15" Ethos would not fit. Turns out for once I got lucky and it fit in the trunk like it was made for it! Here is the car it will be going in sitting next to my other baby... And the enclosure that has been collecting dust for months that fit in perfectly... I should be getting everything in and running within a week or two, and finally get to hear this DSS Ethos in action! For now everything will remain stock except for the sub, but the I30 might getting super loud in the near future.
-
Wow I didn't know this existed...
-
What does "loud" mean to you?

Nice looking car! Looks to be an very good shape.

DC subs seem to haha.

Or sell the motor and buy a different sub.

2007 Civic Coupe SB2 build (non-wall, non-trunk)
ricksi30 replied to twelvemeter's topic in Build Logs
Ahhh my understanding was that for sb a trunk car had to be in the trunk. I'm debating on what to do with my I30 that is why I asked. Posting rules for different comps/classes is definitely aloud.
