I just got my aq2200d 3days ago. As im tuning it today, it was hitting pretty hard. How come it just shut off. I turned my car off and back on, and there was just a red light saying its in protect mode, and now the amp wont even turn on at all!

well now the amp is fine, i just cant turn up the gain. While i was tuning the amp today i was putting up the gain and thats when it shut off. The red indicator light came on, then the amp completetly shut off. Now all of a sudden my amp turns on and works properly except i cant put up the gain. My voltage with the car off is 13.4, when my car is running its 14.4

my voltage droped to 11.9

do you think 1 xs d3100 will be enough?

i just fixed it. Its a voltage problem. The amp works fine now but i cant turn up the gain. Im going to get an xs d3100 and hopefully that will be enough. what do you guys think?

my friend wired the subs for me. They are wired down to 1ohm. He is experienced. But he is out of town so he cant help me right now

i dont kno about the dmm rating on the speaker wire, but i have two fi bl 12's. When i turn on my car the red light just blinks

everything is wired right. I have had it in my car for 3days now, it was bumping pretty hard, until today when i was trying to give it a fine tune. I dident even put up the gain, it was half way. my electrical consists of a xs 1200d and the big 3.

Couple days ago i purchased two bl 12's fully loaded. I also bought a aq2200d. Are these a good match. Would giving 1100watts rms to each sub be okay? Just if you guys wanted to no i have a 2010 altima, big 3, xs d1200 in the front, and my voltage does not drop below 13.5 when the subs are on. The box design is from tech support on this site. 3.2cuft tuned to 30hz. According to the site the bl's need to be in a box between 1.5-2.5 cuft, so im good on that. I currently have one bl12 on a sundown 1200d yea it blew out, never going back to the shop again. NOw for my second build i no what im doing. So anyway will giving 1100wrms to each bl be fine?

The 15BL will beet them all as long as you have a proper built ported enclosure and a good amp like a sundown SAZ 1500d or an AQ amp.

i ordered my two bl 12's 3 weeks ago. Scott is calling everyone to let them no that the bl's are on a 3 week back order. They will ship around the 1st or 2nd week of April. Again like s omeone on this post said, there extremely busy

sorry fot the delay guys. EVERYTHING is on back order. I wont get my two bl's or my aq 2200d till April 15th!!! thats why i had to put a pause to my build log

Today i cleaned out my trunk and started building the enclosure. I put together the bottom, back and two sides today. I sealed up all the sides with silicon, and im not going to touch the enclosure for about 4 days due to school. In this picture i have sealed up all the sides. In the background is my old sub box my fi bl. This pic shows my port and the enclosure half way done. BOy this is going to look good when i carpet it. I put the enclosure in my trunk before i sealed up the sides, and let me tell you it barely fit. It takes up the whole entire trunk. I sat in the box lol and i fit in it hahah. Well there are many more pics to come.

get two sundown 2500d's or that AQ 3500d. The aq 3500d is around 700 bucks i think between 7-800 bucks

AQ are very good amps, its probably your pioneer settings

what are some good high output alternators for a 2010 nissan altima. I dont want to do any electrical damage with an aq2200d and two bl 12's so i finally decided to buy a ho alternator around 300amps

on power bastards.com i finally found an alternator for my car, 110amps at idle and 220 total amps. will that be good?

Its all coming together now. Today i got the baffle in, double baffle of course for those two monsters, and the port. man o man its turning out very nice again this enclosure is for two bl 12's they should be in Monday of next week. My AQ2200d for some reason is on back order fml. I'll be running my two bl's on my sundown 1200d until i get that 2200d, so my subs will breakin up, loosin up a little while waiting for that aq amp. this is the message i got from AQ---- The amp is currently on back order they will be fulfilled asap. I do apologize for the delay in product. I will notify you as soon as i have information.

The enclosure designers under tech are to difficult for me to build only becuase of the 45 degree angles i dont no how to cut. I already spent a little over a grand on a AQ2200d, and two bl 12's. And i dont want to spend anymore money. Can anyone on here design me a box?

i have built my own enclosure before and it was more than great. I dident need no 45 degree angles becuase it was a small ported box for only one bl 12
